Analytical Solutions

ProjectMay 2026 – PresentOmaha, United States

A one-person venture selling tap-to-review cards and counter stands to local businesses. I source the leads, walk in, pitch the owner, and install the hardware myself.

Results

  • 15Client reviews generated

Generated 15 verified new Google reviews across 3 active client placements

  • Extended into IT support for a Veterans of Foreign Wars post

Resolved Microsoft 365 admin, email system, and website issues for the post.

The problem

A Google review is worth a great deal to a small business and almost nothing to the customer leaving it, so the gap between a happy customer and a posted review is mostly friction: finding the business, finding the review form, typing on a phone.

Overview

Researched the local review-technology market and sourced initial inventory beginning May 2026; placed first paid installs the following month. Built a lead-generation pipeline that scrapes Google Maps business data, then scores prospects on review velocity, competitive gap, and online presence. Produced qualified leads databases with owner names, competitor benchmarks, and tailored openers across the Chicago suburbs and Omaha. Handle the full cycle solo: sourcing, programming, cold walk-in outreach, in-person demo, close.

The first month’s assumption was wrong: hardware placed on a counter produced almost no reviews without a human prompting the customer. Diagnosing that changed the product, introducing placement coaching and different product formats, while results are tracked against a dated baseline review count per client. Early free installs were deliberate, bought as proof rather than revenue, and now supply the before-and-after data used to close paid deals. Validated NFC behavior across iOS and Android directly; several capabilities failed in the field and required redesign.

What I did

  • Sourcing leads and identifying which businesses have the most to gain
  • In-person pitching to owners and managers, without an introduction
  • Configuring and installing the cards and stands on site
  • Running free installs to measure what actually changes review volume
  • A Google review stand.

What came out of it

NFC Google Review Cards & Stands

Tap-to-review hardware that turns a five-step Google review into a single phone tap. Built on NTAG213/215 NFC tags with a QR fallback, wired to the Google Places API and field-tested for iOS and Android compatibility.

    Creighton University — Department of Biology · Jan 2026 – Jul 2026

A seven-month undergraduate research project on when apiculture can contribute to sustainable rural development in Peru. I was responsible for the field-data structure the project runs on, interviewed beekeepers and institutions in Spanish across eleven apiaries, and independently developed its bee tourism research track.

A full academic year with Creighton’s Analytics and Institutional Research office. The brief: pull institutional data with Oracle SQL Developer against ad hoc requests from campus stakeholders, then build the visualizations and statistical analysis that turn it into something a non-technical audience can act on.
